During the 90’s my Friday evenings were filled with playing with my toys, and watching “Boy Meets World” on ABC’s “T.G.I.F.” lineup. It’s hard to forget a show that stayed on the air for a cast’s entire childhood! We watched the kids on this show grow up, and for some of us we grew up with them.
The entire cast was great, but who remembers little curly- haired Cory Matthews played by Ben Savage? He was the cutest and kid on television, but now he’s the cutest and sweetest guy on the Celeb Milk Carton.

Ben Savage began acting at the age of nine in various movies such “Little Monsters” with his brother Fred Savage, but he became well known for his roles on television. He is most famous for his lead role as Cory Matthews on the sitcom “Boy Meets World” from 1993 to 2000.

The show focuses on Corey Matthews and his circle of friends dealing with life lessons and events through childhood to adulthood. According to Socialite Life, Savage “stole the hearts of many by being a great guy on the show.” One of my favorite episodes is the series finale titled, “Brave New World.” In this episode, Corey and his friends are all grown up, and they are headed to New York.

When the show first premiered, advertising agencies predicted that the Corey Matthews character would succeed according to Savage's biography on IMDB.com. They were correct. According to BuzzFeed, Ben Savage and another character are the only actors to appear in all 158 episodes.
The show was a success, and Savage received four nominations for Young Artist awards and won one Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice award.

After the show, Savage took on some roles in movies, such as “Clifford”, but he decided to go to Stanford University to focus on his education. In 2004, he graduated from Stanford with a degree in political science. According to The Gazette, Savage was an active member in the Sigma Chi fraternity, and also interned for Senator Arien Specter in 2003.

Now Savage takes on the occasional role in small films, and guest stars on television. His latest role was in 2011 on an episode of the Fox series “Bones”. You can also find him tweeting his life away daily! He is quite the funny guy; his tweets consist of BeyoncĂ© song lyrics, jokes and occasional life advice.
